Baileys Irish Cream, is an Irish whiskey and cream based liqueur, made by R. A. Bailey & Co. of Dublin, Ireland.
According to the manufacturer, it is a unique irish spirit made from a mix of cream, sugar, cocoa and the finest irish spirits. Each bottle of Bailey's is 50% fresh cream, combined with triple distilled Irish Whiskey. It contains no additives or preservatives.
Over 75% of the raw ingredients used to make Baileys comes from the island of Ireland. The cream is fresh dairy cream that comes from pasture fed cows in Ireland. The whiskey is Irish Whiskey supplied from a number of distilleries including The Old Bushmills Distillery, County Antrim. The distinct style of Baileys is derived from a proprietary cocoa extract recipe giving Baileys its chocolate character and essence.
